During time as a sales-person for companies including Duracell, Permjot attended many courses given by sales trainers and business coaches, and often came away disappointed with the messages being given.  

Help with Sales started as a training company and it’s inception came out of the frustration Permjot experienced with management courses. He felt that the training courses he attended were either too far removed from reality being organised by presenters with little practical experience or were from presenters who offered experience from a different era, and therefore not relevant in a modern technology driven market. Permjot was determined to offer clients more specifically designed courses relevant to each individual client and business. 

More importantly, for Help with Sales to establish itself, Permjot did not want to train in areas that he did not have first hand practical experience or coupled with a strong academic interest.  In addition, he knew that clients needed experience and open-mindedness to new ideas and crucially be up-to-date and relevant to compete in today’s market place.

Help with Sales run a variety of courses including; 

  • From Mind to Market; a three-day course designed for entrepreneurs focused on taking their product/idea to market 

  • Networking; a one-day course enabling participants to make the most of any networking opportunity 

  • Sales without selling; sales is the lifeline of all companies, but how much do you know about effective sales processes and management? This course is designed for both sales people and people who have to manage a sales team or process
     
  • High Growth – planning and executing a high growth strategy. The number one reason why most businesses go bankrupt is due to running out of cash rather than through a lack of profitability. One of the major risks with pursuing a high growth strategy is being able to resource the growth. This course enables participants to be better aware of the pitfalls.  

  • Financing; writing and delivering a business plan. When presenting to investors or bankers, both the plan and the delivery are crucial. Permjot Valia has personally invested in over 20 businesses as an angel investor in the last five years. He therefore knows first hand what investors are looking for. This half-day course can be invaluable in helping a business acquire the funding they need.  

  • Scanning the environment; spotting opportunities. Opportunities are everywhere and yet idea generation is seen as a particular challenge. In this very engaging course, participants will learn how to spot opportunities through everyday activities such as reading a newspaper to preparing for change
